Stranger By The Day

When you live in a city where you barely know anyone, best thing to do on a free day is to ride to a part of the city you've never been before, spot a coffeeshop with foursquare, get a table on the corner, take some times yourself blogwalking, enjoy being alone in the crowd of strangers, and ignore messages on your cellphone.

How we both craved for a brand new life, somewhere on a mountain side or seashored place. Dreamt about starting a new life somewhere far away we've never been before, and no one knew us, with new people, new job, new experiences. New life. Sounds so lovely.

Well tapi sekarang ketika sudah bener-bener dijalanin, gue jadi mikir, what's the point of that so-called 'new life'? Ujung-ujungnya yang gue rasain sama aja, rutinitas yang sama, kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang sama, cara hidup yang sama, hanya berbeda tempat. New people is nothing better. New place but nothing new.
